Living in the ISB
The tenants live in comfortably furnished apartments of 14, 24, or 34 square meters. All apartments are fitted with internet access points. The ISB has community kitchens, rooms for common dining and TV-watching, and a large reading room with daily international press and personal computers with email and internet access. Moreover, the house has washing machines, a large roof terrace for parties, and an atrium where the students can play table tennis.
In addition, five German tutors also live in the dormitory. They help foreign students with problems concerning living and studying in Berlin.
The house is on Theodor-Heuss-Platz in Charlottenburg in the western part of Berlin. There is an underground (U-Bahn) stop and four buslines right in front of the house. The universities and Berlin-Mitte with the government quarter are within easy reach, as is Berlin’s forest, the Grunewald.
